The objective of the evening is to bring together key companies, organisations and academics involved in the biotechnology and medical technology sectors in the South West of England. The gala dinner will be launching a programme of sector-focused networking events, seminars and conferences over the next 18 months. The theme for the evening will be:
‘Globalisation and its impact on the South West biotechnology and medical technology industry.’

The key note address and debate surrounding this important issue will form the basis of the evening’s discussion. We also plan to use the information gathered during the evening to determine important topics to be addressed at a one-day seminar planed for early 2008. Please come along prepared to contribute your thoughts to the evening’s discussion. This will be an excellent opportunity to shape the direction of the proposed seminar.
The evening will start with informal drinks at 6.30pm followed by dinner at 7.30pm.
There is a nominal charge of £30 per head for business attendees and £15 per head for non-business attendees. The dress code for the evening is business dress.
