Tiadenol - Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient powder production
Reference: 07 FR IACB 0J09
The API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) tiadenol is a generic pharmaceutical product with an effect on lipidic metabolism. It may be used to treat heart diseases such as atherosclerosis and coronary troubles. Tiadenol is yielded by combining mercaptoethanol and dichlorodecane. Purification is done by crystallisation to obtain pure tiadenol as a solid form. A French Technical Centre is looking for a company that is able, in a first stage, to make 2 or 3 pilot batches (around 300 kg) to validate the process thanks to purity control tests and stability studies. And, in a second stage, to perform this process on a 2000-2500 kg per year basis. Expertise and strong know-how in the organic synthesis of API is required as well as a low-cost manufacturing process. More infomation HERE
Optimisation method for the extraction of compounds of plant dictamnus in organic olive oil
Reference: 07 GR IHET 0IVD
A Greek company is looking for a methodology/process to optimise the extraction of plant dictamnus L. in organic olive oil. The new process should aims for maximum absorption of the volatile components of the dictamnus plant (especially carvacrol). The company is primarily looking for cooperation under a joint venture agreement. More information HERE
Antibody Array Manufacturer
Reference: 07 FR IACC 0J7J
Basque company dedicated to developing and offer products and services for cancer research & metastasis is developing a product intended to be introduced into the oncology practice as an eligibility therapy test and based on antibody array technology. The company is seeking an accurate, reliable and thoroughly validated antibody array that will specifically expose the protein expression profile of a particular set of antibodies. The company should be the owner of all the antibodies included in the arrays. More information HERE
Single-mismatch position-sensitive detection of DNA without labels
Reference: 07 ES MADG 0ITM
A group of a Spanish university offers a technology that consists on the use of a ruthenium complex as a sensitive and selective electrochemical indicator in DNA sensing. The complex incorporates dual functionalities. This device allows the detection of not only a specific sequence but also a single mismatch without the use of labelled targeted sequences. The research group is interested in licensing this technology. More information HERE
Drug Development Service partners for co-development of a new powerful predictive toxicology tool
Reference: 06 GB EAST 0GPE
A UK biotech company has developed a combined human in vitro protocol and powerful software tool that predicts the likely human liver toxicity of drug leads. Aimed at the pharmaceutical industry the product analyses and predicts 10 subtypes of liver toxicity (including the dose-response and structure-activity relationships). Following successful trials and external technology validation the company is seeking additional Drug Development Service partners. More information HERE
Virus concentration technologies
Reference: 06 DE SDST 0GCQ
A Swiss SME is looking for a cooperation partner with technical know-how and/or market experience in virus concentration tools. The SME produces beads made of super absorbent polymers for the concentration and purification of cells, proteins, DNA, RNA, bacteria and viruses e.g. viral vectors. The SME is looking for a partner for further development and marketing of a virus concentration tool. More information HERE

Biosensors for real-time pathogen detection based on SPR
Reference: 07 ES BCSP 0J69
An SME from the Basque Country is looking for an entity (university; research centre or private company) to develop a Surface Plasmon Resonance device for integration of a biochip with immobilised DNA probes. Probes will hybridise with single-stranded DNA from food-borne pathogens, thus inducing a change in the refractive index that can be detected by SPR. More information HERE.
Biosensor instruments for in-vitro diagnostic testing
Reference: 07 ES BCSP 0J5Y
A Basque company is looking for new and efficient specific biosensors, not based on fluorescent labelling or hybridisation microarrays technology, with applicability in biotechnology, biomedicine, food and environmental control.
The molecules to be detected will be antibodies, ligand-binding proteins, or natural or synthetic nucleic acids. More information HERE
Adjuvants for Immunotherapy
Reference: 07 ES BCSP 0J5V
A Basque company is looking for biotechnological adjuvants to be coupled to allergens in order to enhance the immunological effect and clinical efficacy of allergenic vaccines. Adjuvants to be used in immunotherapy of allergic diseases should be preferably of biotechnological nature, giving rise to stable, low-cost and reproducible substances able to be conjugated with either individual proteins or protein extracts. More information HERE.
Plasma-treated polyester films
Reference: 07 GR IHND 0JA0
A Greek biotech SME with relevant S&T (Science & Technology) expertise in the clinical electrophoresis sector is looking for manufacturers and/or suppliers of polyester films with a hydrophilic surface in order to establish a commercial agreement with technical assistance. The plasma-treated PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) films have to be 200 micron thick and will be used in the gel electrophoresis application procedure. More information HERE
Cosmetic and/or nutraceutical active ingredients
Reference: 07 FR SOAA 0J9Y
A Canadian company is currently seeking to expand its cosmetic and/or nutraceutical ingredients portfolio by means of partnership, collaboration or in-licensing with a company that develops and/or commercialises proprietary active ingredients. These ingredients have to be protected for intellectual property and some experimentation almost in vitro has to be done. The production scale-up has to be effective and volume requirements for industrial scale available. More information HERE.
Looking for biological substances with extended shelf life
Reference: 07 GR IHND 0J9T
A Greek SME wishes to extend the shelf life of the controls of its diagnostic kits to at least 24 months. The SME is looking for producers/suppliers of novel substances that will prolong the shelf life of human serum. It is also interested in manufacturers/suppliers of controls with extended shelf life already on the market (haemoglobin controls, stabilised normal human serum protein, stabilised normal human serum lipoprotein) in order to establish commercial agreement with technical assistance.
