Isolation and characterisation of enzymes from cold-adapted Streptomycetes isolated from Spitzbergen in the Arctic region (Ref: 07 BG BGAR 0HM2 )

A scientist from a Bulgarian microbiology R&D institute has collected soil samples from the perm frost in Spitzbergen, Arctic and isolated five strains microscopically and morphologically identified as Streptomycetes. Active growth at 4°C and cell lysis at 30°C define them as psychrotolerant microorganisms. It is of great interest for the institute to find a partner for performance of screening for enzymes secreted by these strains and for analysis. More info HERE
